BusinessGreen: Decade-long plans to develop the first US offshore wind farm took a major step forward this week, after Massachusetts regulators approved a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the flagship project.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities on Monday approved a 15-year deal that will see utility NSTAR buy 27.5 per cent of electricity generated by the high profile Cape Wind offshore wind farm in Nantucket Sound.
